GLHFH is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International and was established in Lynchburg, Virginia in 1988. Habitat for Humanity is an ecumenical Christian ministry that builds good-quality, affordable housing in partnership with qualifying low-income families.Over the last twenty-five years, GLHFH has built and sold 281 new homes, housing 381 adults and 561 children. Our mission is enabled by the generosity of Lynchburg’s faith and business communities and individual supporters. Our goal is to eliminate substandard living conditions for Lynchburg families.
